John P. Grayken Chairman John P. Grayken is the founder of Lone Star and Chairman of LSGA and has been actively investing in opportunistic and other assets for Lone Star for 29 years. Since the establishment of its first fund in 1995, Lone Star has organized the Lone Star Funds totaling approximately $95 billion in aggregate capital commitments. In addition, Mr. Grayken is the founder of Hudson, a full-service asset management company with 824 employees worldwide that provides advisory and administrative and support services to the Lone Star Funds and their investment activities. Hudson, an SEC-registered investment adviser, has advised the Lone Star Funds with respect to approximately 1.27 million assets with an aggregate purchase price of approximately $260 billion (including acquisition financing and co-investors). Mr. Grayken holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
