John Grayken, Lone Star Funds

Mr. Grayken is the founder of Lone Star and Chairman of LSGA and has been actively investing in opportunistic and other assets for over 27 years. Since the establishment of its first Fund in 1995, Lone Star has organized 22 private equity Funds with aggregate capital commitments totaling approximately $86 billion. In addition, Mr. Grayken is the founder of Hudson, a full-service asset management company with approximately 1,000 employees worldwide that provides advisory services (including, without limitation, asset management and underwriting) and administrative and support services to the Funds and to the Funds’ investment activities. Hudson, an SEC-registered investment adviser, has advised the Funds with respect to nearly 1.3 million assets with an aggregate purchase price of approximately $249 billion (including acquisition financing and co-investors). Mr. Grayken holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.
